Which bin goes out?

Why has my bin day changed?

Collections can shift due to bank holidays or disruptions.

What if my bin wasn’t collected?

Report it to your council — we’ll still show the next date.

What time should I put my bins out?

Before your council’s collection time — timings vary.

Why is my date missing or wrong?

Things change — if it’s off, tell us and we’ll fix it.

How do you access our data?

Do you put load on our systems?

We cache results and operate at a low request rate to avoid unnecessary load.

Do you bypass protections or restrictions?

No — we respect council systems and do not attempt to bypass protections.

What if our data changes or is incorrect?

We update regularly. If something is wrong, we investigate and correct it.

Can we provide data in a better way?

Yes — we welcome guidance, APIs, or feeds, and will always use more reliable sources if available.

Will this increase resident contact with the council?

Our aim is the opposite — to reduce missed collections and avoidable enquiries.

Is Lidley free for residents?

Yes — Lidley will always offer a free plan for residents.
